RemindTab is a browser extension that helps you save web pages, organize them by category, and get reminded when it's time to revisit them. We take your privacy seriously.

Data Collection

RemindTab does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. All your saved pages, categories, reminders, archive entries, and settings are stored on your device using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.sync API. This data is synchronized between your own Chrome browsers through your Google account — it never passes through, nor is accessible to, RemindTab or its developers.

Third-Party Services

RemindTab uses ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com) only to handle Pro license verification, trial activation, and payment processing. When you start a trial or upgrade to Pro, your email address and payment details are processed by ExtensionPay and Stripe under their respective privacy policies. We never see your payment information.

For Pro users, the extension exchanges only an anonymous license key with ExtensionPay to confirm subscription status. No browsing data, saved page, reminder, or category content is ever transmitted to ExtensionPay or any third party.

Permissions

• Storage: To save your URLs, categories, reminders, archive, and settings locally and sync them across your Chrome devices.

• Alarms: To trigger reminders at the date and time you set, even when the extension popup is closed.

• Notifications: To display reminder notifications when a reminder fires.

• ContextMenus: To add the "Save this page to RemindTab" option to your right-click menu.

• Tabs: To read the URL, title, and favicon of the current tab when you save it, and to open saved pages when you click on them.

• Host permission https://extensionpay.com/*: Required by the ExtensionPay SDK to verify your Pro status and process payments.

Cookies & Tracking

RemindTab does not use cookies, analytics, telemetry, pixels, or any form of behavioral tracking. We do not log your browsing activity. We do not profile users.

Data Retention & Deletion

Because all your data lives in your own browser storage, you can delete it at any time:

• Remove individual entries from inside the extension.

• Use Settings → Reset extension to wipe all data.

• Uninstall the extension to remove everything tied to your device.

Archived URLs are automatically purged after 30 days.

Children's Privacy

RemindTab is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
